I adore the Prophesy movies. Every single one of them which, of course, proves I have no taste at all. But, there you go.
I'm fascinated by the man vs. angel struggle. Not sure why.
'Dirty Girls'
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Michael Chiklis can do both the "crazy out of control" scary and the "cold-blooded and very controlled" scary, as needed.
I think Adam Baldwin would be scary if he had a role that pulled that out of him. He's played cuddly, but he can be plenty scary.
Nathan Fillion was pretty scary as Caleb. Lots of menace there, plus a nice helping of crazy. Michael Wincott, Ron Perlman, Jeff Kober, Mark Harmon, Kevin Spacey, Morgan Freeman. All can be both menacing and creepy.
Plus? Jim Carrey. Creeepeee.
ETA: Robin Williams. No, seriously.
cont. Donald Sutherland (okay, North American), Julian McMahon, Jeff Bridges (in The Vanishing, frex), Edward Hermann.
Robin can definitely bring the creepy and menacing. It's that same controlled intensity.
William Hurt, Sam Shepard, Scott Glenn.
And for anyone who saw The Good Shepherd, Matt Damon creeped me RIGHT out.
Since Michael K. Williams and Michael Chiklis have been mentioned, let me also toss in Michael Emerson.
No love for Samuel L. Jackson? I know he's mostly been a likable wisecracker lately, but in some of his early movies he did an angry stare that made me worry he'd be spraying the movie audience with bullets.

But the ending of The Apple is perfect! It is the best ending ever in the history of film!
But how many people actually made it all the way to the end? I know Sean and I didn't.
