Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Please tell me you've seen Lavender Hill Mob.
FINALLY got to see
Iron Manthis weekend. Now I need to own it.
Have you guys seen the Cloverfield Google Map? [link]
That trailer is somehow simultaneously a bit of a mess AND really awesome.
I don't know how that works.
As soon as you put "visionary" and "300" together I start giggling.

I totally know what you mean. I think part of it is that they use some of the same scenes from the old trailer, which I've watched fifty billion times.
Please tell me you've seen Lavender Hill Mob.
It's in my Long and Winding Netflix Queue.
Fast and Furious
is surreal. Anyone know if it completely ignores the sequels to the original? I just noticed the trailer says
"New model
Original parts."
