“Not dead yet!”

Were you aware of the interesting timing of this movie choice?

I'm thinking give the audience a 5-7 year break before it's revived on Broadway and finds itself back up for Tonys again.

Still, definitely feels like the end of an era.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Gris, I had absolutely no idea. I actually texted somebody when it finished saying "I want to see Rent on broadway." Doh.

Hey. New board.

I'm thinking give the audience a 5-7 year break before it's revived on Broadway and finds itself back up for Tonys again.

If somebody can find a way to update the production that works, I'm in great approval of this. When I saw the current production in January it felt WAY dated. A revival needs to know that Rent's a period piece now, and it could be great.

I'd be okay with a 10 year break, though.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

They seem to be talking about some sort of "Wizard Rock" thing - rather than, for example, legions of fanfiction writers.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I hear the Elfman movie themes in early Oingo Boingo.

The song "Try to Believe" is pretty much the basis for the entire "Midnight Run" soundtrack

When talking about genres, what would be the rationale for capitalizing westerns, and not musicals, science fiction, etc.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

"West" is a geographical area? The same reason you capitalize "The Old West."

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Maybe failing to capitalize Western could get you shot.
