Sum of All Fears was pretty bad, but they were definitely looking to reset the Jack Ryan series like they did later on for Bond. The studio picked up the rights for Red Rabbit, the Ryan prequel book, but SoAF did so poorly that they apparently decided not to stick with the Affleck.
Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Affleck and Damon were both hilarious in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Lemon face -- eeew!
Lion face -- RAAAR!

And wasn't he supposed to be good in Hollywoodland?
Yes, he was.
DH and I finally watched Hot Fuzz and liked it. We also watched the extras, and I just don't understand the hilarity of flushing birthday cake down the toilet.
