Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'm finally watching Matt on the Daily Show, and the clip reminded me of just how awesome the beginning with the reporter was.

Yeah, it's easy to make giant robots fighting exciting. It's hard to make a walk through Waterloo Station edge-of-your-seat tense. But it was awse.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Matt Damon has a higher percentage of good movies on his list, though he also has Eurotrip and Stuck on You.

Personally, I think the latter should have erased his good movie cred all the way back to Mystic Pizza.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Affleck and Damon were both hilarious in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

Dog is my co-pilot.

And wasn't he supposed to be good in Hollywoodland?

Yes, he was.

DH and I finally watched Hot Fuzz and liked it. We also watched the extras, and I just don't understand the hilarity of flushing birthday cake down the toilet.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If you guys haven't watched the outtakes for Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back you missed some of the best Matt & Ben bits.

I fell asleep watching Buffalo '66. I wasn't digging it. Is there any reason why I should go back and watch the ending?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think Buffalo 66 was one of the most boring movies in existence. I don't even remember the ending.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I think Buffalo 66 was one of the most boring movies in existence. I don't even remember the ending.

Scotland Yard arrests them all for killing the historian.
