Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Because we need another WWII love story. But still. Paul Gross! Caroline Dhavernas! Neat!
I'm pretty sure it's a WWI movie. ETA: Sumi and David have already caught that.
I think it's opening the TIFF in the fall, so it will get lots of press.
I have figured out where On Demand the Dark Knight stuff is. It's under Movies & Extras - which has a button called "Dark Knight."
Yes, I feel stupid for not scrolling down and seeing it last week. But - I watched both GCN newscasts - this week's is a profile of Bruce Wayne. Next week Mike Engel introduces us to Gotham's criminal underworld and the week after - a profile of Jim Gordon.
Love it!

That's AWESOME!!!
God, I love that movie!
"Greetings, Professor Falken...How about a nice game of chess?"
I loved Wargames so much...like other people loved Life of Brian...able to download each scene from memory. That movie, Project X and The Day After all contributed to my becoming a professional peace activist. Love.
I'm glad to see the hearty endorsement of Well-e because, frankly, every frame I've seen so far forcibly reminds me of another movie. I love Pixar with the power of a thousand Avid enabled terminals but I wasn't looking forward to this flick.
YAY WARGAMES LOVE!
