Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My lazy is pure because you gave me the fix and I didn't have to think out how to make it right.

I only noticed it because my "spoilerfont" is grey writing on a grey background for a faux FBI strikeout effect. White on white is kinda disappointing once I've gotten used to my way. So it only looks like I'm looking out for others. Patently false. It's all about me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I could swear I posted a "what ita said!" earlier, but it's gone now. Eaten by the interbunny. (Except that my spoilerfont is simply grey text so I don't have to highlight. Because I'm a lazy-ass spoiler ho.)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I saw Ironman at a matinee and then Indy in the afternoon and I think Indy suffered by comparison.

yeah I think it really helped that the last movie I saw before Indy was In the Name of the King.

Seriously, if you haven't seen Palme d'Or winner Laurent Cantet's Human Resources or Time Out, do yourself a favor. I can't speak for Heading South.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What the hell was Dave Foley thinking of hooking up with him for his video-game "satire" Postal? [link] Did he lose a bet with God?

move out and draw fire

I haven't seen Holes, but have seen Shia in Transformers about 10 times, and he's awesome. Just tons of charisma. Main reason I want to see Indy.

Because, while I take some weird pride in my hometown showing up in movies, I also know it's going to mean sucky plotline.
