back to Wanted here's the trailer the MPAA doesn't want you to see (NSFW).
Buffista Movies 6: lies and videotape
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

snerk. As bad as I talk about that movie, I think of it way more often than I should.
And since I took a little peek at the cast list and noticed a certain surprise guest.
I surmised correctly and then confirmed via imdb. Who else could it be?
t whisking away a nostalgic tear...

It's a horrible yet terrifically entertaining movie. I'm glad I heard you guys talk about it or I never would have rented it.
Oh god. I may just have to rent it again.
I dunno though. The whole redemption by puppy thing...
I saw that site last night, P-C! Via IMDB, I think.
There are so many I want, but dude, they're SO expensive when you convert the pounds to dollars.
Via IMDB, I think.
Yep, that's where I found it.
they're SO expensive when you convert the pounds to dollars.
Damn you, England!
Seriously, though. I don't like to pay much more than 17.50 in DOLLARS for a T-shirt, no matter how awesome it is. And 17.50 in pounds is nearly $35. Before shipping!
holy knickers that is pricey.
Speaking of puppies:
I'm visiting my brother and we're talking tv with his girlfriend, missing Buffy and Firely (while watching Buffy) and Heroes, etc, and she's all sad about the absence of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which leads Bro to fanboy about Christian Bale being signed on to a trilogy as John Connor.
GF stops and asks who is this Christain Bale.
Um, Batman Begins? Nope. American Psycho? Nope. Newsies? Nope. Empire of the Sun? Nope. And then I get the brilliant thought that she knows of Equilibrium (did I just break a secret code of cool for saying it's name out loud?!) and me and my brother start ragging on how awful and ridiculous it was and how much we absolutely loved it, and she's still all Nope and not interested in our squee. My next brilliant thought is that she's a dog lover, so I tell her he rescues a puppy. She jumped right on board!
I really enjoyed Indy, lots of laughs and squeals. And yet --maybe it was because I was in the fifth row from the screen-- even as I was laughing I felt a little dirty.
When I watch Indy, I want to feel like I'm watching Indy, not Tarzan/George of the Jungle/The Mummy/Stargate.
