She's too old now anyway. She's headed towards the teen roles shortly.
I wouldn't have cried at her casting when she was younger, though. She's weird as hell, but she could almost certainly pull the role off. I'm not sure that many real children can.
I just read Hilary Swank is going to play Amelia Earhart. She's a good actress and all but I think she doesn't feel right for that role. Good on her for taking flying lessons, though.

Seems like a pretty good fit to me.

Tim Burton to direct Alice in Wonderland
How cool! Just after I read it for the first time!
Dammit, my stupid is showing. They aren't in Adventures.
Neither is the Red Queen. Unless HBC wants to be the Queen of Hearts.
I was thinking the Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts were one and the same. Clearly I'm due for a re-read.
I'm watching Hogfather. And I'm having the time of my life!
Ho. Ho. Ho.
The delightful Cleolinda is doing The Golden Compass in Fifteen Minutes, except she's posting it in parts to encourage participation in Project Download. Go! Read! Laugh! Save a life!
MM, isn't that HO. HO. HO.?
(I love that book.)
You've never seen this guy in action
Corwood, I've seen that movie and it is made of hilarity.
We went to a preview screening of Sweeney Todd last night. I'm not sure what sort of audience goes to previews, whether the theater was mostly people familiar with musicals, or the Deppaholics. Either way, the audience was delighted, loudly.
I tend to avoid slasher movies myself, and the amount of fake blood onscreen was... impressive. But it was a great deal of fun. Sitting next to me was a fan of the adaptation with Angela Lansbury; her only complaint was the missing opening song. (I wasn't fond of HBC's singing, but she didn't seem to mind.)
