I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

If Ratatouille is about Jewish assimilation X-Men is about homophobia. Oh, wait. Maybe art is what we bring to it.

Yeah, I'm excited. When I saw it in the theatre, it physically affected me; I could feel my entire body tense up. I hope the movie lives up to the promise.

Bourne fights kinda kravlike. I dig that.

I was hooked on the Bourne series after that first fight with the French cops rousting him from the bench. They were hassling Bourne.... Bourne just wanted to be left alone.... then one of them touched him and all of the sudden both cops were flipping around in painful-looking, crunchy-sounding, the-body-isn't-meant-to-move-like-that ways, and half a second later, Bourne was standing over two unconscious cops with a surprised look on his face and one of their guns in his hand.

That was the point of no return.

And I know that some people have problems assimilating the shakey, frenetic camera style of the car chase at the end of 2, but I always like that sort of thing, and agree with ita that it is meant to convey raw experience. Yes, it's also meant to showcase Bourne's extreme craftiness, and yes the film is maybe not so successful at that during the chase for some people, because of said visual style. But it is also intended to convey raw experience as well, and at that it is very successful.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I always like that sort of thing, and agree with ita that it is meant to convey raw experience.

I'm totally willing to like it. It's Matt Damon! I'd watch him do a lot of things. The choice is taken out of my hands, however, when I'm busy trying not to hurl.

Okay, I've been living under a rock or something. Is there any other info about the movie out there? The trailer looks interesting.

I get that! I really do. It's not a visual style that appeals to everybody. I've talked to a bunch of people about it, and it's a love it or hate it sort of a thing. Those that don't like it all tend to say similar things too, about it making them want to hurl. Especially when seen on the big screen.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I gotta say, I kinda didn't like the car chase because of the jitteriness. I wanted to see Bourne bein' all cool like dat and be able to appreciate every bit of it.

I had the same complaint about the fight scenes in Batman Begins. I mean, I get that they were trying to convey the scary "what the fuck was that?" of the bad guys' POV, but I also wanted to see exactly how Batman kicked holy fuck out of bad guys.

Didn't ruin it for me. Just a personal preference.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Of course, my nausea might have been due to the fact that I was seeing it with my ex on a "maybe we can get back together" date that I had already determined would be our last.
