I loved everything about that episode. It was just what I (/fans) wanted!

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I agree with all of y'all. I am just so pleased that the show is back.
Brewpub brewpub brewpub!
That was super fucking fun. I look forward to Sophie running a theater company!!
Thief juice...It's a mouth crime!
Love it.
Are we supposed to assume that Auggie's preternaturally sharpened senses can't tell she's on the verge of crying every time he mentions Eritrea because he's just soooo in love or whatever? It's kinda overdone, the way she's tearing up and giving all the visual tells.
And I'm still assuming Mohinder is alive, because I need that.
I got stuck on that too. Auggie and Annie are such good...such close...friends. How would he not hear the tension in her voice? He certainly has done in the past, for lesser emotional content.
I did really buy Auggie's need to prove himself in the field though I question Joan's seemingly petty reason for sending him.
I'm veering toward Jai Wilcox having escaped as well...I think his da orchestrated it.
The thing I don't like about the beginning of this season is the grim chasm between Joan and Arthur. They've always had their issues, but now, it's not enjoyable for me to watch.
So: second episode of Perception - is faceblindness REALLY as bad as that?
Percpetion! That's the one I wanted to catch up on while I'm at my sister's and can do On Demand. Um, so I don't know the answer to your question, but thank you?
Jen,
don't get your hopes up...
Sumi, according to Oliver Sacks, yes. It can be completely mystifying.
Okay, that's just weird. I went to the wiki page, to be sure: [link] and apparently Oliver Sacks is face blind, and didn't actually realise it until after he'd studied it. Like, after after.
I have this weird panic that I'm face blind, that a family member will pick me up at the airport and I won't recognise them--like, a parent.
I have no idea why this has bothered me for years, but it does, every Christmas, like clockwork.
No, I've never actually had any difficulty with facial recognition, especially with immediate family. It's kinda fucked up,really.
