I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, yes. Well, I hope that it's not totally over. I thought that Jane was in the right, but she was an asshole about it. What she should have said is "I'm sorry I shot your father, but I'm not sorry that I shot Patty Doyle"

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The actress who plays Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) was filming a movie at the end of MM, so I don't expect to see Peggy again until next season.

Which is about how they handled Roger's heart attacks.

Something for the BBC, right?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Anyone here a fan of Rizzoli and Isles? If so, do you like them both? Equally? How did you feel about their rift...well, I guess it's effectively over now..?

Yes. Mostly. I didn't watch the premiere yet, but I'm re-watching last season's finale right now. Some of the characterization of the Rizzoli family as low class compared to the upper class Isles family bugs. For an example from the episode I am watching right now, Italians aren't exactly opposed to complicated espresso machines.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Another example:

Maura: "That would be even better with some pecorino romano cheese."

Rizzoli's mom: "We've got ketchup."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm sorry I shot your father, but I'm not sorry that I shot Patty Doyle

That's pretty much the meat of it. I'm not sure at which point Maura forgot his rap sheet, but expecting your cop friend to do you a solid that involves not defending herself and other people...good luck with selling that point of view.

I couldn't tell if the text was asking me to take a side or not. Even though Rizzoli was being very brusque about it, I still think she had everything but romanticism on her side. And she was never prone to dressing things up.

sj are you saying that low class Italian familes would have/know pecorino romano cheese?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

sj are you saying that low class Italian familes would have/know pecorino romano cheese?

I think that they at least would say they had parmesan, or mozzarella, or something not ketchup.

Yes, almost definitely. And I would probably count them as lower middle class, which is pretty close to what I grew up in.

Yes, this. Or they may have just called in romano. But ketchup on pasta of any kind, even macaroni and cheese, nsm.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Oh yeah! I remember reading about something filming with Elisabeth Moss and Gillian Anderson. I always notice GA news. My Scully crush will never die.
