'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A friend pointed out that Fred Pohl worked in advertising in the 50s -- THE SPACE MERCHANTS is somewhat based in that experience. (As is "The Marching Morons")

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But it sure looked to me like she was responding to that kiss. She was leaning into it before she broke it off.

I don't think so, FTR. I think she was just accepting it, to a point.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I think that's a one-sided thing, from what I've seen.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

My favorite part of the episode - and there were many good things - was Roger's reaction to the imminent fist fight. And then Don closing the drapes and Don, Roger and Cooper watching with guilty pleasure!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oh yes, the very calm closing of the drapes and lighting of cigarettes was awesome. You could see them wishing that they had a drink.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

It is even more ironic to me because Don doesn't like professional boxing (from last season), but he clearly enjoyed that.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Don closing the drapes and Joan opening the door were my two favorite little character moments from this ep. Just absolutely note-perfect.

I would like to ask that John Slattery please lay off the match cuts for a while, though.

I'd also add every character's reaction to Don fixing the sink, especially his own. Mmmmm.

I confess, I checked for a butt crack when squatted down to flip the water back on.
