Is it wrong that I found Quarles reaching to get his arm back (for the pistol still in his hand I assume), and Raylan pulling it away with a "no fucking way" look funny?
If that's wrong, I don't wanna be right.
Me either.
I would like to say that I called Arlo shooting Tom. I did not think that he would fall on his sword re: Devil though. OTOH, shooting a state trooper was going to get him jailed for life, so he might as well add Devil to it.
No, that was funny. (edited for context: the business with the arm)
Errol was kicked out for engineering the oxy war originally, I believe. He had a reprieve while they calmed things down again via, in part, the Dickie gambit and probably believed he was earning his place back, but no. Possibly coming back and shooting Quarles will help his case, but maybe not, Mr. Limehouse seems unlikely to change his mind.
So with you on Arlo, Vonnie. I don't think Boyd knew Arlo was going to get arrested, but once he was the rest was probably inevitable.

Isn't he dead?
Also -t was a little bit prescient when she said
That could make sense. I imagine there's a lot of people from the past that Arlo would shoot at if he thought Tom was them.
It was so fucked up when Raylan said that Arlo shot a man in a hat and we realized that Arlo would have shot Raylan. It was a nice call back to the moment at the beginning when Arlo said that he'd heard that a man with a hat had been shot.
He thought he had shot Raylan. He meant to shoot Raylan. To protect Boyd. That's some fucked up shit.
Man. I thought it was bad when I thought my father "home-invaded" his own house. And it was. Because I thought that, at least till the arraignment(of, thankfully, some complete strangers who were the only home-invaders I ever heard of not to leave a scratch on the homeowner...they did bind him with electrical tape so he pressed the alarm with his nose. When he annoys me, I enjoy thinking of him like that.) But I still trust he will never shoot me.
Yeah, the amount of pain in Raylan's eyes when talking about that was killer.
It hit me before it hit Winona, what "a man in a hat" meant, but then watching her face as she got it -- ugh. This show. That really hurt.
I was shocked that Johnny is double-crossing Boyd, although I don't know why, given what show this is. And yes, Quarles reaching for the arm with the gun and Raylan's "yeah, right" look was awesome.
That poor kid. I was so nervous the whole time Quarles was with them.
wrod. Because he could kill him. Or he could, you know, use him as a toy. It's all too horrifying.
Olyphant's so pretty you forget how frickin' good he is. It's not every actor that can make you believe he's been through all that stuff.
And yeah, totally laughed at the severed-arm thing.
I actually read a nutsy letter on Salon that tied in the popularity of Justified, the Trayvon Martin killing, and something else as "part of a propaganda campaign for state-sponsored killing,"I wanted to write back, but while I am aware every disagreement does not require a Special Comment, I believe a better response is called for than the "Nuh uh," that initially burst out. Yeah, Elmore Leonard, goosestepping fascist. Right after Carl Hiassen writes "Fuck Florida,"(if you don't know, that will also never happen.)
