What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I think that was just an old friend we'd never seen before.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Then I don't feel so bad about not recognizing her!

So Peggy is basically the greatest.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Holy shit! Don's date-rape nightmare girl was Madchen Amick. (Still looking quite good. Except for the disturbing murderation.)

I was glad Joanie told off Doctor McRapey, but my cynical strategic mind was thinking, "Dude, just send him back to Nam for a year and divorce him when he comes back. You'll get to collect his pay and maybe he'll get fragged over there and you can collect his pension into perpetuity."

Poor, Sally. Like she needs a trip to the Valley of the Dolls and Richard Speck haunting her nightmares.

I like Roger basically playing every episode as a French farce. Peggy owned him in that scene.

I hope Dawn gets developed into something other than A Model Black Person That the White People Can Bounce Their Racism Off.

From the A.V. Club review:

Also, if the series could feature a scene where Roger pulls out an enormous wad of cash and tosses it at someone in every episode this season, that would be just peachy.

Ahahahahahaha.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm guesstimating that $400 might have been as much as a month's salary for Peggy, so at least she's getting bribed nicely. (Oh, make that $410.)

It's obvious that somebody needs to talk to Sally about "the facts of life".

I hope the new step-Granma (what is her name?) can end up as an ally in Sally's life. Sitting sentry over her, armed with a knife bodes well.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I am still suspicious of where Roger is getting those wads of cash and by how easily he gives them up.

The Richard Speck murders happened on July 13, 1966, in case anyone was wondering.

I'd forgotten Speck was at large after the murders. He was one of the more spectacularly stupid mass-murderers, not that that's much of a contest.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Whoa. Blatant slash-bating alert: [link]

It's the trailer for the upcoming USA drama, "Common Law." You know, because they're basically married. Looks like it might be a candidate for the next big slash fandom. Unless the fandom does the predictable thing and ignores the show because it's not two white boys. (Or it could suck, I guess. But the quality of the show never stopped fandom.)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Wynn's absolute OUTRAGE at being dealt with like he deals with others is fucking hysterical.
