Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I love OoS. Just love it. I try to watch that movie about every year. And of course Soderbergh is a fucking genius for getting such great acting work from Clooney and Lopez. I think Soderbergh is credited for finally ridding Clooney of that awful head shake.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had pleasant Maximum Bob flashbacks with Stephen Root as the judge that Givens has to protect.

I have one episode to go, and then the DVD set has to go back to the library, where it's already overdue. :-)

I have to say, it's amazingly easy to marathon these episodes, they're so well-structured and paced, and dense enough that the story just flies by until you're at the ending credits.

Always Anti-fascist!

It's true, Frank...adaptations are generally a mixed bag."Out of Sight" is a great movie, though.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Right? It was like that watching them as they came out, too, except you had that frustrating wait-a-week-for-the-next-one thing to deal with.

Justified had great promos before it even aired, too.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I do!!! I KNOW, right? Heartbreaking.

He's almost Joss like in his willingness to kill off anyone.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm with tiggy. Much as I have the mad Vincent-love for Ron Perlman, I'm completely over Clay's evilitude.

There have been times when I was sympathetic to the character. Not any more.

When Jax made the statement in the first episode of this season that he as rejecting his father's rationale for his actions/non-actions, I made the same statement about Clay. I can't believe he has gotten away with so much for so long. Johnny isn't the only smart one in the bunch, how is it that nobody else is with his no-confidence?
