Well thanks for that link, Frank. The end of the review sealed the deal for me. I will have to ask you all what you thought because I'm not watching it. I'm getting flashbacks to the season I dropped Nip/Tuck. I don't think AHS has anything for me.
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Well, AHS is a mess. It's not a boring mess, as many of the reviews have also said, but, to paraphrase Crow T. Robot - "They just threw a bunch of horror movies in a blender and hit frappe."
Strange place for Jessica Lange to turn up, I must say. But after Titus, nothing will surprise me from her.
thank you for taking one for the team.
you going to see episode 2?
Well, I just watched it. It was scattered, weird, and there was sex. Not sure whether any of the threads interested me enough to tune in again.
you going to see episode 2?
Probably. It's the kind of trainwreck I can enjoy in the right spirit, but I'm also wondering if they tried too hard because it was the pilot. I haven't seen a production so in need of its ritalin since Moulin Rouge. And the house is a great piece of set design.
I tivoed but haven't watched.
Prime Suspect is much, much better this week: [link]
Well, I liked AHS! Will totally watch again.
I just don't understand what anyone is expecting from a Ryan Murphy project. Of course it's wackadoo and makes no sense!
I still haven't watched it, although I recorded it. Had to watch the double elim. on Top Chef Just Desserts.
Of course it's wackadoo and makes no sense!
You make a valid point.
