Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Tonight's second Leverage was extra fun!

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, first they make you cry (in the first episode) and then they make you laugh - what with Parker all hopped up on chocolate and caffeine.

Because books.

The Grave Digger Job was so wonderful. Parker/Hardison ♥ forever.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Both episodes rocked. I loved them taking out a guy who saw all their moves ahead of time, except he couldn't account for them doing the right thing.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Although the Hardison/Eliot hug gave the slashers something to squee about. :)

That was a good hug. But Parker calling Hardison Alec, just meltifying.

Yes, it was. It was really good work.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

OMG, opening in media res with Hardison like that broke my heart. Even if his claustrophobia is a bit of a retcon, the emotional payoff was well worth it. That awkward kiss at the end of the episode was golden.

But Parker calling Hardison Alec, just meltifying.

Absolutely.

I really liked those two episodes, and I've never been more happy with a slow burn OTP than this one.
