I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Shit, Piper Perabo is cracking good at accents. I've tuned into some fantasy movie on SyFy, and she's got the requisite British accent. She hardly sounds like herself.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

I don't have any problem with Eliot giving a radio to Molly, it kind of makes sense if she was in danger when out in public. However, it made no sense whatsoever if she was able to listen in as they were breaking in to her father's vault. (Could she hear all that?)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

He told her to put it in her pocket, not her ear, didn't he?

Yes, she didn't put it in her ear until she got snatched.

Okay, because I was wondering why he'd let her listen in to the con.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo, Elliott getting his Bruce Lee on! I love a nice house of mirrors fight.

NICE power shot, Leverage!!!

Indeed.

I don't know why he gave it to her in the first place. A bit clumsy with a plot point, but Eliot has a well defined soft spot for kids, especially kids with parent issues.

Trust my rage

When I started watching Breaking Bad several years ago, it was very entertaining in part because it was a totally different world from mine. But now Albuquerque is only a few hundred miles away and I know many people (mostly clients, but a few friends) involved in drug taking and selling.

I don't think I've ever met someone who murdered anyone, but when I see Jesse and his pain and fear of being alone and willingness to throw himself into anything to not think about his life, well, I do care about some people who I think are living like that. It's really hard to watch.

Seriously. Thank you, Frank Oz.

I really liked this episode. But I couldn't figure out Molly and Eliot's codenames were. Perky and Petoskey? What's that from?

(Aha. Checked the comments at KFM, and it was Packy and Botasky from Apocalypse Meow. Don't know why Molly expected Eliot to get her reference, but hey.)

I'm glad I don't pay attention to the Leverage Facebook posts pre-episode:

While the team steals a revolutionary computer chip from a high-tech home, a child goes missing from the carnival.

Way to spoil, guys!

Also, I just noticed that in the credits, Nate has gone from being MASTERMIND to BRAINS.

Also, whoa, this was that girl's first TV gig. She was great.
