Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I know, but certainly not the worst. I remember in The Practice, two roommates who were opposing counsel would both work on the case at the dining table and discuss it.

But, I get it.

Because books.

I know nothing about the law, but that sounds wrong even to me.

I just remembered this morning we get more Leverage tonight! I love it when my shows come back.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's some good outrage, Perkins.

I was thinking about what bugged me about this episode, because it wasn't the legal stuff because all that slides right over my head not even mussing my hair. My problem is, I think, that I don't have a good handle on what the main guy's superpower is (also that I don't know his name, the only names I have picked up so far are Harvey and Lewis), and I have a feeling it's not me being obtuse, it's that the writers aren't sure themselves, because I thought I knew last week and then this episode just didn't fit what I thought I knew.

Art Crawl!!!

Is it Harvey - the attorney? Or Lewis? I think that Lewis (if that's the kid who didn't go to law school's name.) I thought his superpower was memory.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Anyone watched Necessary Roughness? That actress hasn't traditionally played characters I like, but I like this one, and am casually interested in seeing how it turns out. And Blucas is looking fine.

Was she the one on Rescue Me for a long time?

Art Crawl!!!

Yes.

And it is v. nice to see her playing somebody not so emotionally strung out.

Harvey is the attorney, Lewis is the other attorney that took the kid to play tennis, etc. I don't know the name of the kid who didn't go to law school. I thought his superpower was memory, too, and I guess he did sort of use it in chatting with Fantasy Football guy. Maybe that wasn't really my problem with the episode. I definitely had a problem with it, though I can't put my finger on exactly what it was.

They're doing a riff on an eidetic memory, which is that he remembers everything he reads or sees. So, he knows the law, he just doesn't know how to interpret/apply it.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I decided to give Necessary Roughness a shot because 1) I found out Marc Blucas was in it and 2) it got good ratings (I'm tired of watching a pilot then finding out it did horrible and will most likely be cancelled).

Why the heck did they call it Necessary Roughness? The show didn't even register with me because I thought it was related to the movie with the same title.

Eggs! Max Medina!

I liked it and set up a season pass for it.
