I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I liked it too. But I'm sick.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Better living through chemistry. I didn't realize we were to the finale already.

I know I recorded the first season of the Riches, but I don't know where those episodes are stashed, now. This does not bode well for me being caught up and ready to watch by Tuesday.

Visilurking

I taped Dirt and watched the first two episodes and now I feel sick. Apparently they simply took last year's tabloid stories, changed the names, and filmed it. Verbatim. I don't get it.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So the Riches is back. That is one messed up show, I tell you what.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

yeah, but it's awesome.

Who was Dale talking to? Do we know? And were we supposed to think that the fat traveler was the same one who ran the real Riches off the road?

I only saw the first episode so far this season, but I love this crazy show. I'm sad that we're getting such a short season.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I dunno about your first question, but I think yes to your last question.

I really thought they would go back and give that couple the money. "I think they'll be all right" doesn't really cover the bill collectors.

Saddest moment as a side effect of all their scams: "There's no experimental surgery?"

I hoped that they would, too. But, it was Nyna that said not to do it, everyone else was okay with it.

Not javachik

Breaking Bad is such a ride. I've not seen Bryan Cranston in anything before and he is a force of nature as Walter. He's so hang dog... then turns around and has a spine of steel in scenes re meth. LOVED that he uses his chemistry to outwit the drug thugs, both in the RV early on, then in the 2-story building scene & later in the junk yard. (Who was that drug lord? From CSI or L&O? so familiar!). "Who picked this meeting spot?" "I did. I thought this was where drug dealers met." "Are you kidding me? No, on blah blah street where you can get a taco" or something like that. I couldn't stand Jesse at first, but the actor is so good, I don't exactly like the character as much as really appreciate his game. They're all very good. The baby tiara - haha! I wonder if that will come back to bite Hank or Marie in any way.

eta: and the cinemaphotography! Beautiful shots like the khaki pants inflating in the breeze and blowing down the road. The Native American child holding the gas mask over her face. The twilight behind, er, the IPO magnate/chem guy's house. Speaking of which, so Hank and that guy's Bohemian-chic wife were an item at one point? Do tell! Before or after Skyler?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

You really should catch him in reruns of MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE because he was awesome in that. If you can catch the episode where he displays his roller boogie chops - bonus points.
