"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

"I want to do the right thing."

That was heartbreaking. I also loved Elliot's "It's a good thing it was us" speech.

Great job by Eric Stoltz too. Very odd role to be in, but well delivered.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I saw this episode at the FanCon in Portland earlier this month, and loved it. None of that was fake snow; they were actually filming on Mt. Hood in a freaking blizzard. John Rogers said there was an avalanche warning the whole time they were up there. It was ridiculously dangerous. Eliot was supposed to fight the Russian guy hanging off the side of a cliff, but it was too dangerous for them to do it. Which is why there's no Eliot fight scene in this one. I said they missed the perfect opportunity to have Eliot fight a bear.

That was Eric Stoltz??

Oh, I completely believe it was shot on location. I mused to myself that it was obvious they were shooting on location because they COULD for the premiere. They had the extra time.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Am I right in thinking that Stoltz played the dead guy who left the video messages?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The only shot that looked fake to me was the initial shot of Eric Stoltz. The background reminded me of the shots from the episode of Castle where the guy was faking being on a mountain in his apartment. My guess is that they didn't drag Stoltz up the mountain with the rest of the cast.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Me too, Frank! I think that the biggest problem was the lack of condensation breath. I was convinced that it was going to be that he was running a con about being on the mountain.

I didn't consciously notice that, but it probably pinged me anyway. To me, the big tell was that the background looked like a poster or some other photograph. But a very minor point in the end. I was halfway expecting them to find him alive somehow, but I'm glad it didn't play that way.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Zen, that's good to know about the fighting! I looked at Dan at 8:51 and was all "Why hasn't Elliott kicked anyone's ass yet! I feel cheated!"

Oh, Hardison. I hug you and kiss you and love you so, SO much.

Parker! No tears! Noooo! (Is that the first time we've seen Parker cry? I wanted to wrap her in a blankies and show her money.)

I didn't mean to watch Suits, but it was on after Burn Notice, and then Gina Torres was in the first minute, and I watched it. It's not must-see, but I'll probably watch it for a while...there were some clever conversational moments, and also? How smoking was Torres in that backless dress?!

Also, re: Burn Notice. Oh, Micheal Weston. I think you have one of the most shit-eating grins I have ever see. But I still like you.

Yeah, the crevasse was built on the sound stage. I didn't even notice the lack of condensation breath.

Kane was up for doing it anyway, of course! Insurance guys said NO.

Another story Rogers told: They were staying in a hotel on the mountain, and one day he was walking past and saw Beth's son Pilot leap out of a window and land in the snowbank below. He freaked - OMG is he hurt, what's Beth gonna say - when there was a whoop and Beth landed right beside the kid. He freaked again, Beth's gotta be careful, she can't get injured, they're filming, blahblah, and then there's another whoop and Kane lands beside them. Rogers just gave up and went on his way.
