Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

Trust my rage

So, Joe and I watched two episodes of Breaking Bad last night while waiting for Frisco to fall asleep. I actually really enjoyed it - it reminded me a bit of the Sopranos in that it was rather twisted but the characters were still people I was interested in.

I'm a bit curious where you go with a lead character who has terminal illness that is supposed to kill him rather quickly, but I also found myself really liking the meth kid, which is surprising because on paper he doesn't sound like a very likable character.

I'm enjoying BB as well, although this past week's episode ran a little slow.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

I'm guessing they are not necessarily planning on a long run for that one.

Re: the terminal issue, the last episode gave some possible hints of where they might go.

I have not seen it yet. But I'm sure there are a few choices.

Not javachik

I missed some Nip/Tuck eps. How's Sean going to recover from THAT? Need to hunt down ep summaries, because, what happened to Julia? Sean lying to her is not going to go over well. When did Matt get off the crack? Why were the paparazzi chasing Annie, of all people? Also, is the psycho Sharon Gless? Whitefont just in case. I love Sean. I wish he could/would just stick with his goodness instead of being Sisyphus all the time. Ah well, dramatic conflict. Also, Google/etc. later.

Also: Yay Medium! I love that show. Heh, badass Angelica Huston with the gun.

It embarrasses me that I'm able to answer the Nip/Tuck questions but here goes: Considering Julia survived a gunshot to the head, with a small (fixable) scar and some soap opera conveniamnesia, I think Sean will survive a little bleeding and gasping. Julia confronted Eden about poisoning her with mercury, so Eden shot her. Matt got off crack when Kimber dumped him for Ram (I still can't believe Jonathan Kent does porn), and the paparazzi were chasing Annie because she's Sean's daughter, and Sean is supposed to learn that fame is bad because it makes your family get into car crashes. And psycho was Sharon Gless, who is a great actress, but had to deal with the drivel they wrote up for her this season. She's so much more fun in Burn Notice.

How is Mad Men linked to Law & Order?

We had January Jones in the episode from 2 weeks ago and Maggie Siff in this week's episode. (I wonder who will turn up next?)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

New York actors--it's not really such a huge pool.

Munch turns up as a pre-teen/teenager? Why not - he turns up on every other show.
