Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

This season does seem like it has flown by.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I LOVED the little snippet of Mag signing the deal. She was so clearly out of her element, something she is NOT used to. Lovely moment of work by Margo Martindale.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

She's just fantastic.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

WHO WAS THAT WOMAN?

Man, shit is going to seriously blow up next episode.

Also, Raylan needs some nice prescription drugs.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

RIGHT? I DON'T KNOW!

I love that kind of representation of a person. That someone can just walk in, have a few conversations, and the whole scene changes. I love that everybody thinks they're running things, moving people, but the reality is, all the people are people. They keep thinking and feeling and reacting and doing stuff ALL THE TIME and it's not necessarily what the people who think they are in control think they are controlling.

Which is realistic.

And narratively difficult to handle, which I respect.

And yeah, I loved the bit at the signing. It was all normal courtesies, and she was all wrong in her body. Just, terrified, really. And dressed wrong and the wrong hair and it was like she'd just realized it, just seen it, and yet so determined to make it right for her family. I loved all the serious explication we got about her motives this episode.

And yeah, the finale is going to come down around everyone's ears.

Art Crawl!!!

You know what?

Apparently, there is a secret cadre of women who are actually running things in Harlem County.

That's what I think.

Trust my rage

I love it when I'm busy enough that I get a new episode of a favorite show and didn't even have time to want it.
