Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

“Not dead yet!”

I also am part-way through the original Danish so it was interesting how much stuff they carried over from the original.

Oh, that'll be interesting to hear about, le nub.

I'll admit, I spent the first hour wanting to smack the characters stupid, but the second hour really picked up, so I'm giving it a chance. Despite the fact that no one apparently consulted a map of Seattle or checked the weather patterns. (Thunder, not so common 'round these parts.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I seem to have missed something. What is The Killing?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Keith Gordon, friend to some Buffistas, is directing some episodes, and reports it is REALLY good.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Last night's Breakout Kings amused me.

The move where the bald "marshal" uses the shotgun butt to knock out the woman who's got the gun in her mouth? Sweet as hell. Except, you know, either knock the gun out of her mouth and/or injure her. She was pristine. Missing teeth, shattered cheekbone, damaged jawbone. Gimme something.

Also, the tinkling "Don't push me, 'cause I'm close to the edge" behind the prison showdown was too funny.

I thought that same thing about the shotgun butt to the mouth.

I did kinda enjoy "I got your card, bitch."

I was a little eyerolly at the chick domming the escapee's pawn, because I don't believe in men that are that easily sexily manipulable. I just...tell me it doesn't happen.

I did like the black marshal (I don't know *any* names) shoving the Suit, and the chick stealing his watch, though.

Men are stupid, but probably not that stupid.

I would love to say "And then I could rule the world!" But I'd feel so damned dirty.
