BMW's been one of their big commercial sponsors but it wasn't a car I imagine a lot of people were driving around in during the 60s, with the emphasis on buy American.
And how many products exist now in a similar fashion to how they did in the 60s? They've got Coke and maybe stuff like Kraft Mac n' Cheese.
The bottom line, however, is I just can't see Matt Weiner compromising his vision of the show to try to shoehorn in products. But what do I know? I suspect the attempted axing of two actors might be of greater import.

Tim Goodman says "pay the man."

Re: Justified - So the baseball story is canon now...
And I would appreciate it if the writers would cease making the female characters such asshats. Truly.
I am facinated with Boyd's dancing on the edge behavior. He managed to pull off slipping out of the mine robbery, so I'm so very curious how he thinks he's got something on the Bennetts.
Raylan needs to wake up and realize that Boyd is his one true friend.
I don't find the female characters any more asshattery than the male. Sure Carol is no prize, but we have Ava and Helen and Loretta and Rachel, who are all strong, interesting women (well, and one strong little girl). Winona has some flaws, but no more than Raylan himself does. Mags is horrible, but there's only one of her and THREE sons in the family, so the asshat dudes outnumber the women on the Bennett family tree.
I watched the next-to-last episode of
Breaking Bad S3
yesterday, and I'm still vibrating from the HSQ of it... as well as the impending grief that I'll be all caught up and have to wait for the fourth season with the rest of you.
(Seriously: best one-word ending of an episode EVER.)
Mad Men deal is done for at least two seasons.

And at least it will be back in Spring of '12 rather than Summer.
