Yes, but I thought at one time USA was airing original episodes with ABC airing repeats that same week. And, IIRC, ABC never aired original episodes.

No, I'm pretty sure it started on USA. They've done the rerunning on a major network thing before, though.

Aha, Wikipedia knows:

Although ABC originated the show, the network eventually handed it off to the USA Network. USA is now owned by NBC (NBC Universal).[3] Monk is the first ABC Studios-produced show (formerly Touchstone Television) aired on USA Network instead of ABC.

I taped it but had some issues with my tape so I'm going to watch part 1 On Demand when I get home and then watch part 2 live.

I loved the scenes with Grace and all her brothers and I'm also pleased that she had a good number of scenes with Rhetta in the finale. The Grace-Rhetta friendship is one of my favorite things about the show.

I agree, sumi. That's not an ending! All the family stuff (including Rhetta) was really good.

Tongue cancer. Heh.

Did anything happen after she asked the priest the question at the end?

You now, in 6 or 7 months when (supposedly) we will get this back - they better start right up at this moment.
