Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

"you're like the hillbilly whisperer" I forgot how much I laugh during the course of an episode of Justified. Then when the incident happened with the trap, I remembered that I also have to close my eyes and hum sometimes as well. What a ride! That was fun to watch again.

I would complain about the lack of Boyd, but I am so grateful for the door open to the character coming back that I'm not complaining too loudly.

I liked that they gave us the last few minutes of the first season to bring us back in. Did they ever say if Johnny lived or died? He was laying in the flowers with a gut shot, so I would have liked to know.

In this first episode was one of the few (because there are a few) of the bad guys that I didn't feel any sympathy for. The guy with three first names. He was creepy from the get go, but normally they give us something likable about the bad guys. I feel like they tried to make the Bennett family a little sympathetic by their interaction with Raylan and the mom's protectiveness of the little girl. They could be some interesting Big Bad's this season.

"That's what a girl loves to hear for pillow talk. Regret" That's the Justified I was missing. So nice to see it again. I'm just sorry that I couldn't give it a hug. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I think that they wanted to give us an unredeemable villain so that the Bennetts would look better in comparison. I LOVE the mom. She's a great actress anyway, but she is selling that part.

On a shallow note, not enough shirtless Raylan.

Agreed. She was great on Dexter and was the best thing on The Riches. Jeremy Davies is doing a pretty good job too.

Just read this in a review of season 2:

Leonard is reportedly so taken with Olyphant's performance that he's writing a new book simply called Raylan.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ha! That is cool.

I need visual references for cowboy hats for a project I'm working on, and it took me this long to realise I should just watch more Justified.

Done and done!

Art Crawl!!!

What a chore, ita. I'm sure it was a horrible burden.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Is it fan fic if the original author is a fan?

I already checked to see if there was a pre-order. Nope.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wait, what was the original book?
