Mad Men is playing havoc with my desire to drop cable. Paying $75/month for one show is clearly insane, but there doesn't seem to be ANY legal way to watch it online.
It's not on iTunes?
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

I think it's only available on iTunes after the DVD for that season comes out (like HBO shows) - not really good for keeping up with online discussions.

I don't think so-- I seem to recall at the beginning of the season they had the Season Pass option up on iTunes for Mad Men. They had a big countdown to the beginning of the season as well with free downloads as well.
ETA: Yeah, all of S4 is up right now.
Oh! Well that solves that, then. Buh-bye Cablevision!
(derail) What are you doing for Internet, Jess?
Oh, we'll still need them for that. At least until this neighborhood gets Fios. But we're giving up the phone & cable after the baby's born. You know, so we can afford to feed her. t /off-topic
Thanks, Jess, for reminding me that it is really insane to pay $900/year just to watch television. I think it would make way more sense to upgrade my Internet service when I upgrade my cell.
I'm trying to do the math and figure out how to ditch cable as well. Of course I am trying to figure it out in the off-season for racing... I'm not totally mad.
There's a small chance I might meet Matt Weiner this afternoon! Anyone want to place bets on whether or not he'll tell me what year it'll be in the S5 premiere?

::faints::
I neither fangirl nor do I beg, but honest-to-God, if I were in front of him, I might just fall to my knees and plead for the opportunity to work for him.
