Anybody watching Nip/Tuck?
'Out Of Gas'
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Kind of.
Christian is a sad, sad individual.
And even more orange than before!
He is sad. I'm just not sure how I feel about the show. In some ways it feels fresh because of the locale and their new challenges to build the practice. But in other ways, it feels like the story-lines are retreads and every character's behavior is predictable and boring.
Also there's nothing fresh about another boob job, tummy tuck, face lift etc. Are they out of shocking surgeries?
However, I find the show-within-a-show really amusing. "Nobody has a tie? Why did this guy have to bleed out on casual Friday?"
And even more orange than before!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that's noticed Julian McMahon's startling transformation into an Oompa Loompa. Dude, step back from the body waxing and sunless tan—you have passed the point at which they go from showing off the physique to highlighting flaws.
I thought that the MORE ORANGE was an acting choice to show how insecure Christian has become.
I hope so, but I can't recall if he's been looking like that since the premiere or not.
I thought last week's ep was hilariously funny.
I haven't watched Nip/Tuck since the crazy killer season, but I had to stop after that because it was just such a sad show. I mean, I wanted it to be deliciously sexy and twisted, but it just got sad.
Stephanie is me. Period. I haven't watched since the slasher season finale. The rapes, the cutting, the weird brother/sister relationship just gave me the skeeves.
Anybody watching Nip/Tuck?
I liked the premiere. The change of locale seems promising, or, then again, how can you go wrong with LAUREN HUTTON!! She is SO GORGEOUS and, I'm pleased to note, looks beautifully her age/does not look like she's been nip/tucked at all.
Bradley Cooper cracked me up as TV!doc. I loved his exchange with Sean at the real clinic, "Wow, this practically looks real!" "It IS real." (As tv!doc makes to grab the scalpel) "You can't touch that."
Whoever was the aging starlet (too lazy to search) was terrific. I was so sorry that Christian lured her into his trap, just biding his time like some creepy Lothario spider; she played her resignation of What I Must Do really well. Ugh, I felt sad and disgusted and resigned that Christian just had to do what he did at the very end.
It would really nice if they give Sean a nice fresh start and keep him somewhat normal this season. Being Nip/Tuck, I'm not sure that's possible, but I can hope.
