I'm afraid that Don confiding to Dr. Faye is not a step forward in intimacy for him, but rather the death knell for that relationship.
I agree. It could have been a step toward intimacy, and it is the first person that he told that he didn't immediately have to tell, but I agree he doesn't want to be that vulnerable.
That's how I viewed that last shot of his glance at Megan.
Definitely, this.
If Conrad Hilton will be the White Knight account.
Oooh, this would be interesting. But it would also make Don a rainmaker and I'm not sure I like that idea. I would love it if Pete got one of his Fishers Island accounts to come over, like Bethlehem Steel.
He was already wounded and going to leave Korea.
Are you sure? I got the feeling that when he recovered he was going to be sent back into combat. But I only watch eps once, and that was a long time ago, so I could have missed something. BTW I agree that Sal won't be coming back. Not because fired people don't come back (what about wotisname the recovered AAattending drunk) but the way he was fired makes it impossible. Don would have to grovel and as Hec says, Don won't grovel, not for something like that. Don can't even conceive that he was wrong.

Well, as Don Draper he got sent home after he was wounded. So I'm not certain if Draper's tour of duty was closer to be finished or what. That would have been a compelling reason for Dick Whitman to change identities. God knows, Dick Whitman doesn't like guns. Or fist fights.
I have to say that it's been interesting watching Pete's character this season. Again and again he's shown leadership, put the firm forward, gotten accounts, worked hard. It's an interesting parallel with Peggy, but Pete's coming into his own.
That glare he gave Roger as Roger spewed at him was not resentment but pure Fuck You. Don owes him now, too. Not that Pete acted out of friendship, but for the sake of the firm. But Don still owes him.
And Lane owes Don a solid too.
Trudy looked like an amazing ruffled peach in that pink preggo peignoir.
He was already wounded and going to leave Korea.
I don't think this is necessarily true. The other guy was due to go home in a couple of days, while Dick just got there. I don't remember what the injury was, but they could have patched him up and send him back

I was gonna say! My additional question is: How many more fab maternity outfits will we see Trudy in?
Mr. Pryce could go toe to toe in a shitty father cage match with Mr. Wyndham-Pryce anytime.
For a moment I thought it was the same actor. But of course, he was Quentin Travers not Wesley's dad.
White Collar got renewed. Anyone surprised?
Well, if Royal Pains can get renewed, White Collar damned sure should.
Trudy's preggo bump is ridiculously TV-esque. January Jones did a better job with the posture.
I'm curious - were pregnant women in the 60's warned against gaining weight? I'd love for there to be a reason Peggy's the only one on the show who ate for two other than the obvious plot device.

I think the death knell wasn't his telling her so much as her "Don't you worry - I'll fix it" reaction. Don doesn't want a lover who takes care of him. He's too much of an alpha male for that.
Anyone else think Roger is overdue for another heart attack?
