I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I went to a Heroes panel at DragonCon. Sendhil is pretty. So is Adrian. Who has...arms.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Chris also has the edge of having been in every episode so far. So as The Guys go, he's a bit more likely to be it.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

its constant rehashing of Annie's relationship (that was a 2 month fling occurring TWO YEARS AGO) is incredibly irritating.

I stopped watching CA a few weeks ago, but as someone who still gets odd pangs of nostalgia for people I never actually dated, not to mention crushes that spanned years and continents, including my current long distance crush with a guy that I volunteer with once a year? I don't find it implausible.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Trust my rage

I have always joked that my FIL is working for the CIA. He has a job that takes him all over South/Central America for weeks at a time and every one falls all over themselves when he comes to town.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think I'd be tickled pink to know that a buffista was working in the FBI or CIA.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

A good friend of mine's dad worked for the "State Department" for 40 years. I went to his retirement party, and we all gathered around to hear him say a few words. He thanked his family, etc. and then said, "and after 40 years, I can finally tell you who I REALLY work for. I worked for the CIA. Thank you."

We were all flabbergasted, except for one of our friends who works for the State Department (the real one . . . I think). I asked him about it later, and he shrugged and said "State is a standard CIA cover" I said, "How do I know that you don't work for the CIA" He laughed and said "come over to my office I'll show you."

And I said "Nah, if you really worked for the CIA, you could put a cover office together in 5 minutes. They probably have one set up, and the second that you swipe into the building, somebody runs up to the office with your stuff and changes the name plate and puts up some pictures of your family."
