Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

that was a helluva episode. just excellent. I screamed several times and I stopped the episode for 10 minutes when Duck arrived because I needed to calm down over the possibility of what might occur.

Man, those two can say things to each other no one else can.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have paused this episode multiple times and saying "Oh my God" out loud.

Me, too. Wow!

“Not dead yet!”

I think Peggy's been Don's best friend whether he's realized it or not, for a long time. Probably ever since he kept her deepest secret. He's trusted her with the parts of himself that Anna hasn't been personally privy to. He needs someone who will call him on his shit and that's why he swore he'd chase after her for the rest of his life, trying to hire her. He wasn't saying that he needed her to work for him. He was saying he needed her, period.

And did anyone notice the call back to the very first episode when the eager, inexperienced Peggy placed her hand over Don's in that awkward come on that he rebuffed by pulling away? Tonight, the positions were reversed, the situation completely different, and Peggy turned her hand in his and returned the gesture.

Nearly broke my heart.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, just as good the second time.

I had forgotten that scene. Even so, it was very touching.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

When do we get more Leverage? That was fun, but ultimately not very satisfying.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

December. Hmmph. They didn't go out with a bang. The two episodes before this were stronger and more immediately memorable.

Not javachik

Mad Men: whoa!

Nice little set in the women's bathroom: Trudy, "You're witty! I'd assumed that was so and it is." (or something close to that). I was surprised about the comment that 26 is still very young. Is she making a pointed comment about Peggy not being married, or are they that much older than she?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Everytime Weiner writes an ep solo, I'm reminded of how much he loves to torture these characters! Obviously Don puking in the bathroom while Peggy watches, and Duck almost taking a shit on Roger's office, but also the look of sheer terror on Pete's face when Trudy and Peggy come out of the bathroom together!!!

I freaking love bottle eps.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is she making a pointed comment about Peggy not being married, or are they that much older than she?

I took it as the former.
