Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
I loved the Fiona and Sam show last night on Burn Notice.

No! I've finally decided I might actually have liked Veronica Mars if it had had a different lead. Please keep Kristen Bell out of stuff.
Piper Perabo leaves me mostly cold, so I don't know if I'm going to love Covert Affairs. It's still background TV for me.
Fiona and Sam were fun, and I'm not usually much of a Fiona fan. But she was on fire last night.
I'm still a little whiplashy over the Fiona/Michael relationship. I can't quite follow their ups and downs.
I have to say, I do like that Annie gets beat up and beats back like a wild animal rather than having all of her moves planned.
The Company might as well just paint a target on her, and have her walk up and down the mall, and wait for foreign agents to appear.
I think that's next week's episode.
I don't understand why she never carries a gun if she's going to be put in these dangerous positions where she is likely to get shot at.
I also was a little annoyed over the driving thing. Why did she have to pretend that she didn't know how to drive a high performance car? If she did have to pretend, then why didn't she just say that she didn't know how to drive stick?

I think that's the point. I loved Madeline last night when she said "Sometimes they love each other, sometimes they hate each other, but it's always each other."
I didn't see the Jesse crush from him, but I definitely saw Madeline selling it. When she told the billionaire guy "I think he knows exactly how you feel" I said "bwah? Is she saying that Jesse has a thing for Fiona? Where did that come from?" (I mean, I totally get how he might, but I didn't see it in the show)

I think because where would a lower level government employee get experience with that kind of car?
She lives in DC, weird shit happens. All she had to say is "my old boss had one of these"
"Sometimes they love each other, sometimes they hate each other, but it's always each other."
I get the premise of an unpredictable on-off relationship. I just don't feel any consistent chemistry between the two leads. I don't think chemistry should be on-off too. I want to always know these people are emotionally engaged with each other, even when they're being businesslike and cool and stuff.
I don't want to have to be talked back into it. I want to feel it.
I find Fiona so very unattractive, I probably couldn't see chemistry even if ti was there.
Fiona is much more passionate talking about her weapons than she is talking about Michael.
