Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

USA Network Prepping 'Burn Notice' Prequel

The prequel is being developed as an original movie, not a series, and will focus on Sam Axe’s (Campbell) military past. I loved Campbell’s reaction to the news as reported by audience members. "What do I have to say about that? I have to say that USA finally got their shit together."

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oooh! I wonder who will play a young Sam Axe? If they can license footage from the Evil Dead movies, I will send a donation.

From what I hear it will be Campbell himself, on his last mission before he retires.

Heh. John Rogers on Hardison's Who preferences:

He's an Eccleston fan and kind of likes Matt Smith because of the Troughton similarities. And Amy Pond, well ... Rose who?

BN prequel:

Ooh, the sound you hear is D having a nerdgasm for a reason he knows not why yet.

Why is it that the espionage inaccuracies in Covert Affairs bother me so much more than in something like Burn Notice?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Because Michael Weston is just that cool?

Or maybe because Covert affairs is set within the CIA, and Burn Notice is about people who are outside the spy world.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I watch Burn Notice, but I'm not a fan fan.

However I had a total fangirl moment when they were all "Big Bad Michael Weston" this week with the power walk towards the Spetznatz agent. I don't even think JD is hot, but that was smoking.

And Burt was on fire.

I even almost liked Fiona.

Almost.
