OOOOh, Cool, Tom.
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
From that KFM post:
Eliot doesn't need a home, as he only sleeps 90 minutes a day. His home is justice, and he lays his head on a a pillow of righteous wrath.
HA! And now I'm picturing Eliot's Monacle Smile!
Man, Gus's rant at the martial arts school was marvellous. I love Awesome!Gus.
I know Im a day behind, but
Neal and Peter are the cutest thing ever! I love this show so much !!
I am mentally inserting a thought bubble that reads "Dammit, just when the chatter died down over the last picture of another another guy macking on me!"

That started out awesome for me, and I love takecharge!Gus, but he was getting SO MANY THINGS wrong from a legal standpoint that it ended up being a Cliff Claven scene for me.

I'm mentally inserting a caption that says "Fanservice: It's not just for The CW."

He didn't have a leg to stand on from the very beginning, though. I didn't think he was supposed to be right at any time. I thought it was supposed to be a flood of nonsense that made the guy panic, not an actually well-reasoned case.
Basically, he was pulling a Shawn, after telling Shawn he needed all that lead up to prepare his character.

Oh I know, but it's one of those random things that just throws me out of the scene, because I kept thinking how can the guy not know he was full of crap and call him on it.

You were watching Psych, right? It's the "full of crap" "not called on it" show. I was just excited Gus got some crap of his own for a change.
Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the show because I think it's way too preposterous, and Shawn needs to get slapped around a bit for his sense of entitlement and what he gets away with. But part of me cheers when Gus gets his moment in the spotlight, whether he's making sense or being Shawnlike.
I'm in it for the supporting cast, and dream of a day when they work out that they've had the wool over their eyes for years.
