Where is this show filmed?
Random bits in DC (or green screen). Once again, they used a universal subway set. The outside looked like Dupont Circle, but the inside said "subway" and had corrugated metal cars (which we don't have in DC)
Mal ,'Bushwhacked'
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

Oh, and I love Kari Matchett, but I didn't buy here "it' a man's world" schtick with a dress so low cut at work.
Yeah, Annie's wardrobe made my eyebrows go up. You are a CIA trainee asked to report to Langley and you wear a 4 1/2 inch Louboutins with your shirt open to your navel on your first day? Riiiiight. But it's not like other USA shows strive mightily for hard-hitting realism or anything. Ah, well.
Toronto.
So all these gorgeous banks actually exist somewhere? or was that first one a train station?

Oh, you meant White Collar. That one is filmed on location in New York City. The one that's filmed in Toronto is the new show, Covert Affairs. In fact, it kinda made me laugh because they sent Annie to "Capitol Grand Hotel" to rendez-vous with the fake Russian guy, and as she walked past, you could clearly see a partial sign that said "York Hotel" (Royal York Hotel is the fanciest hotel in downtown Toronto.)
Oh, thanks for the clarifying, Vonnie.
Oh my, that green screen dining scene with Elizabeth and Peter was so . . . weird, visually, I mean. Their faces looked all warped out of shape. But besides that, I was hyperventilating that they were actually discussing that fannishly shipped line "Peter..." in a fannish and shippy way! OMG!
Christopher Gorham was ADORABLE and I thought he and Perabo had nice chemistry together.
Definitely.
I didn't care for the fact that they made her look like a paranoid jealous shrew in her scenes with Peter Gallagher. *sigh*
I see your *sigh* and raise you a @@.

And where the eff does a CIA trainee driving a "crap" car and living in her sister's guest house get the $$ for Louboutins?
She's not hurting for money, given all the extensive world traveling she does. My guess is she chooses what to spend it on (aka fancy stuff). It felt like there was a lot of "name dropping" in that episode, some of which I think might have been product placement. (You really call it his "opentable.com account"? Not his "opentable account"? Okay.)
I quite enjoyed it, and Christopher Gorman is adorable.
