I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

Art Crawl!!!

Wait - Alfre Woodard is in Memphis Beat?

Hmmmm, I wonder what this means for that other series tv role she has ( as Lafayette's mother on True Blood. )

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Though it was not her greatest role by any means, the delivery trumps everything. On a defunct sitcom starring Gena Davis, with Bill Mahr in the cast, I think it was called Sara and set in SF. In the scene indelibly imprinted in my memory, Woodard was trying to talk Sara into attending a party. "There'll be heterosexual men there; we're having them flown in from the midwest."

Not a brilliant line, but a brillant delivery.

I think I fell in love with her in Cross Creek, and have been a devoted fan ever since.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How much of a sucker am I? After finishing up the extra features on S2 of Leverage I headed over to iTunes and bought Not Sure Yet. And I don't even ship Sophie/Nate. I don't think. Great kiss, though.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Finally watched the final two episodes of Saving Grace, WTF was that?

I mean, what was the point of the entire series? What did she accomplish by being the Angel Cop?

Well, the whole last season was full of WTFness. The side story of Neely the junkie, stripper, born-again, Earl protege? There was so much that made no sense, even for that show.

I feel glad I'm not alone in my dazed confusion.

I checked TWoP out, just to see if I was on crack, and apparently it was the most heartrending or predictable thing ever. I...just...whatever.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'll never watch the series but I have know what happened that was so crack. Basic idea is, she's an unpleasant person with a guardian angel, right? Somebody spoil me!
