What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, god, the NLP that Sophie uses on Eliot at the start of The Reunion Job is just beautiful.

I loved the use of the NLP. They did something that Chuck does a lot, which is hide a plot point in a throwaway gag.

I enjoyed the episodes and loved seeing the characters again, but oh my God, I may be unduly sad, crushed, and/or annoyed that they appear to have ditched the "Let's go steal us an [X]" catchphrase. BRING IT BAAAAAACK.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

What's NLP?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Neuro Linguistic Programming. I've had it pitched to me by a practitioner as a self-help tool, to remodel the brain and its habits, but it came across really culty and creepy. Also used, as in Leverage, in theory, as a way to manipulate people into doing things without them consciously realising it.

Ah, now it makes sense. Thanks!

You'll notice when Sophie was doing it, she'd use words like "sugar" and "squeeze" and associate them with gestures that she'd then use on Eliot which would then make him do that thing with her tea.

I love them together, in a non-shippy way. Of course, the S2 gag reel had him flipping his tongue at her, which was just freaky.

Still, they went further with the OT3 teasing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Of course, the S2 gag reel had him flipping his tongue at her, which was just freaky.

It was funnier because he did it when she wasn't looking at him, then she noticed and did it back at him, and that made him lean back and laugh and look embarrassed.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Memphis Beat: Sepinwall and Feinberg did not like the show. Apparently, what the clips don't tell you is that there is a whole lot of Elvis worship (and impersonation) in the pilot episode.

I like Elvis as much as the next person, but I can't deal with it in a tv show.
