I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

She's having a crisis of faith about her stupid husband? And Raylan was stalwart. And handy. And apparently, memorable.

Trust my rage

Fine by me. I could use some more stalwart Raylan.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I also think that she married Gary thinking that he was the opposite of Raylen which was great because she figured that she wouldn't have to worry about him being involved in scary business that could get you killed - and guess what? He was involved in scary business that could get you killed - and he couldn't handle it. By which I mean, she started remembering the things she liked about Raylen not just the stuff that was driving her nuts.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

What I found most fascinating about the Winona/Raylan hook-up was how romantically the post-coital scene was filmed. Winona getting dressed was almost more erotic than Raylan undressing her.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I completely agree with you.

Art Crawl!!!

Hmmm, I may need to rewatch the scene to confirm that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

White Collar WWE promo. Haven't listened to it yet.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I thought the afterward scene was quite sad. There was pointedly no cuddling or intimacy, she got dressed and put on her ring. He watched with a slight smile, knowing he had been used maybe, but okay with that. It was kind of a video to the Eagles, "Lying Eyes".

I felt really bad for Ava. I told her to leave Kentucky, that no matter how much she loved Raylan or for how long, he was going to hurt her. She didn't listen. Damn one way conversations with the TV.

Also, Arlo totally had me going talking to the kid with the grenade. The bad guys being good makes my head swim, in a good way.

Oh man, when he told Raylan he was glad Raylan's mom hadn't lived to see the day--I could feel the anger. If the old man wanted Raylan to hate him, he couldn't have done a better job.

Maybe Winona is the mirror image of that. She's one of the "good guys", but keeps doing bad things (cheating on Raylan, cheating on Gary). I want to like her because Raylan does, but I really really don't.

I was pretty sure Boyd didn't believe the white supremacy stuff and they may have even stated that. I don't think he is born again either. But I don't know what his game is. Other than he dislikes his father and finds Raylan amusing.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I don't think he is born again either. But I don't know what his game is.

Agreed and agreed. On the other hand, Raylan did accuse him of using white supremacy as an excuse to blow shit up; maybe he's doing the same thing here. It probably gives him a kick that he gets to be righteous while doing it.
