It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...

To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I had at one point been avoiding this thread because I thought there was talk about the new Justified. But when I gave in, I found there was none. Now that I saw it, I have no idea why there hasn't been any conversation about it. Seriously big episode, though mainly a set-up one.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

I'm reserving judgment until I see where they're going with it.

If they stay as true to Elmore spiritually as they have so far, it will be a wild two episodes. There's a lot at stake, and a lot of it is deeply personal to a many of the characters.

ETA I'm a little worried about collateral damage. I do NOT want anything to happen to Raylan's boss, for instance.

That guy had two of his finest moments so far in last night's episode.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I've been working like a dog and didn't catch up on Justified till today. OMG, so freaking awesome. Dewey! Use your words! Raylan chillin' with Boyd whilst the latter is in handcuffs and Boyd's delight in Ray Ray figuring out Arlo's deep dark secret! Helen wishing she'd shot Arlo, Dewey getting the phrase wrong, Arlo and Bowman's pissing contest about their respective sons. So much goodness.

The use of Winona and Ava disappointed me, but I'm willing to hold out hope that cliches will be further avoided in the next two eps.

Oddly, I'm having this vision/speculation of - I feel silly sharing this - Bowman grabbing Raylan and stringing him up from a tree. Must be all the hillbilly campfire scenes. And Bowman presenting this as a gift to Boyd, and all fuck all breaking loose as Boyd decides to save Raylan's life by killing his own pa. IDK. But if the finale doesn't involve a hanging, I think I might be disappointed.

He's been a jewel the entire run. Definition of a great supporting actor.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I LOVE the boss--great character and the actor underplays it perfectly. Loved the "deputizing" and that Boyd appreciated it when he heard about it. Hell, I just loved everything. This is MY show.

Trust my rage

Did anyone else feel a bit slashy when Raylan in his vest and Boyd in handcuffs were sitting in the ground talking? Just me, then? Ive never seen a lot of slash on this show until just then.

But slash aside, there's something i just love about this show.
