I love smart TV but were we supposed to assume that the judge changed his mind wrt helping Ava or was Raylan lying for some reason I don't get.
I assumed the judge was lying when he said he wouldn't interfere with someone else's courtroom.
Wash ,'War Stories'
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])

I have to say I love Stephen Root and thought he pwned this character. The whole quasi-monologue to Raylan as he was changing out of his robes and into his clothes was amazingly done.

I think that the judge changed his mind after Raylan kept him from killing that dude.

That was awesome. I'm loving the camera work on this show.
I also love that we're given complex enough characters we can speculate on motive--I can see several different interpretations of the expression on Boyd's face when the meth lab blew, and each of them is plausible. I like this show.
I read that Beth Riesgraf rappelled into the upfronts this week.
Rachel said on Twitter that she heard Beth was amazing; I guess this is what she meant! How utterly cool.

Dude.
I didn't know TNT did upfronts, what with their different schedule. Still, cool!
They all seemed to be in New York this last week, so ... no, I have no idea.

Smacks forehead
THAT'S why he sounded so familiar.

Yes. Another amazing character for this show and Stephen Root took it to Eleven. He was the Judge. I loved when he told Raylan to stop saying Your Honor, but to use Sir instead. Ha.

This is what I thought too.

Hee. We have another show to play with.

Dean Devlin and the whole cast were at the upfronts in NYC. I still don't quite know what "upfronts" are. But apparently there were some great photos, which got posted to LJ and then yanked before I could see them.

Upfronts are when networks present their schedules to advertisers and sell ad space. In the traditional scheduling it's when they announce their lineups (which is why we now know what fall is going to look like). I'd have assumed that most of the Leverage ad time was already sold, since they come on air in a month. And I'm pretty sure that SyFy didn't do upfronts, which has a similar summer schedule coming up.
