If every vampire who said he was at the crucifixion was actually there, it would have been like Woodstock.

Art Crawl!!!

Could the possessed Stirling somehow travel to the distant future and appear on some little world where he runs a criminal empire?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Or go to LA and run a nefarious spy network there? The possibilities are near endless.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The great Buffy vs Edward vid pulls Cedric from Harry Potter, but it is done well enough that I forgive the character exchange. Love that vid.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If you're making a fanvid for a tv show, is it cheating to pull shots of one of the actors from an appearance on a different show? Not that I'm doing that; the above just made me curious.

Depends. It probably goes over better if you're making an AU vid. Otherwise there's a pretty good chance it will jar people.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Cheating? Not really the word I'd choose.

It's not uncommon, although also not universally loved, because some people are always going to find it jarring, and more so the more invested they are in the source. It can be done really nails-on-blackboard horribly, or so seamlessly you don't even notice (the latter tends to take a lot of work to match style and light and color levels and not use clips that are too obviously identifiable with the outside source).

Or you can just throw in some anonymous gay porn, if you'd rather play that way.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Now into season two of Leverage and have forgiven Aldis Hodge for killing Sam on Supernatural.

I know, right? There was nothing in Ray Voodoo Tatum or Jake that foreshadowed that kind of awesomeness.

Stirling as Crowley? That sounds awesome.

Stirling as Crowley?

Now I'm picturing Mark Sheppard in a movie of Good Omens. I like that thought.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

ooooh I like that thought too!

This quote from John Rogers blog made me laugh (despite the unfortunate substitution of "with" for "we", at least I think that's what happened):

This, of course, means tomorrow with go off the rails like a burning train filled with pantless clowns. But, I'll take one good day.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Depends. It probably goes over better if you're making an AU vid.

I've seen a couple of vids that pulled this off brilliantly on a meta-level. There was, um, "My Favourite Friend" -- I think it was by Jill and someone else I'm memfaulting on -- which mixed footage from A Beautiful Mind and Master and Commander and posited that scenes from M&C were delusions of fancy in John Nash's mind. And another one in which Neil (The Robert Sean Leonard character) didn't kill himself in Dead Poet's Society but ended up going to the military school then onto medical school as per his father's wishes, and grew up to be Wilson on House.
