I wouldn't have called LFN genre, but it was fannish. And Leverage definitely is too. I'm actually quite curious about what makes a show that isn't scifi/fantasy cross over into fannish. Because there are some clear ones, and ones that were totally expected. And yet - what is that line? (Aside from Mark Sheppard.)
Cable Drama: Still Waiting for the Cable Guy to Show Up with the Thread Name...
To be determined... (but it's definitely [NAFDA])
Unless Parker can fly.
I'd totally buy it.
eta I don't wanna have the genre/non-genre discussion! I'm just reporting what was stated, rather proudly, at the con, regardless of whether they were right.
Correct or not, that is certainly my impression as well. I was really surprised to see them doing one. I had no idea tradition went back as far as Starsky and Hutch so I was thinking they were doing a first. It just seems like there is a line that isn't crossed like, for the most part, US actors not doing commercials that air in the US but doing ones that air in Japan.
Unless Parker can fly.
This would explain in The Wedding Job why she dove off the balcony and told CK's character (sorry, don't know them all by name yet) that she didn't know he would be there to break the fall. She didn't look like she was planning on landing in a tuck and roll position.
Dean Devlin tweeted that ifmagazine.com is running a poll today asking if there were a Leverage Con again next year, would you go? The results are overwhelmingly positive. The more respondents, the more likely they are to take it seriously, so if you'd go, you could pop over there and tick off a tickybox. Just for fun.
If this day would go faster, I'd be able to watch Leverage sooner. Stupid laws of time.

Can I vote yes just to approve of the idea even if there is no way I would possibly go? But I support them in email in a poll and in my town?

And lack of brain ports.
Ew, gross teaser on Justified worthy of Supernatural. And no dreamy Raylan. Bad show.
And lack of brain ports.
Exactly. I have seasons to mainline, people. Step it up with the neural interface.

Whew! First time through I skipped the word teaser and thought, "Oh HELL, no!"

But Alan Ruck? And the guy deserved it! I was laughing even as I was wincing.
