But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm with Perkins. JA is crazy pretty, but Bomer is craxy pretty. And JA is handsomer.

Of course, if they'd appear together, perhaps we could come to some sort of agreement.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The fact that Bomer is so pretty is half of the point of the character.

This.

I think JA is more attractive than Bomer. Not as pretty maybe, but more attractive.

This also. JA is very 'regular guy' pretty. I mean, he's always good looking, but it's at certain shots and angles that it gets stunning. Bomer I can see where you look at him and go "too pretty to be real". Ackles is more - OMG, if I caught the guys I know at just the right angle could that be the result?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That really would be like staring at the sun though.

And wow, was it hard not to make a dirty comment right there.

I'm willing to risk my sight.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And wow, was it hard not to make a dirty comment right there.

I have no idea how you managed not to make one.

Hell, I have no idea how I managed not to post one.

I have to go on the record and disagree with you, brenda. JA is not regular guy pretty. JA is "are you freaking kidding me?" pretty most of the time. I think the camera makes mad love to him from a multitude of angles, and it's a lovely thing to behold. I have no faith that regular guys + a good angle could do anything like any of these.

That having been said, Bomer is...good freaking god...a different sort of implausible good looks. And, frankly, has done more growing into being insanely pretty than JA has. His pre-Bryce photos are merely goodlooking.

JA's pre-Winchester days are even prettier (but less handsome).

It's probably for the best that more guys don't go around looking like that, or I'd never get anything done.

I am choosing to believe it's a sign of growth.

Prettier maybe. But it's as he aged that he got the grab-you-and-don't-look-away factor. Seriously, there are shots of him I could stare at for half an hour. I don't know that Bomer will have the same trajectory. But I'll pay folding money to see them both in five years.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I think a young Ackles was prettier than Bomer, but current Ackles has aged out of the pretty and into classically handsome.

Bomer is wicked pretty, esp. as Neal. He was merely pretty as Bryce.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Neal-Bomer is the same kind of pretty as Simon-Sean Maher, to me. Very lovely facial structure and body language, an intensity in the gaze, drop dead smile. They remind me of one another a lot.

People who've seen Ackles real-life tell me he's ordinary looking. With his coloring I can see that, if he's chilling or lurking. But I'll bet he can flip that "on" switch.

edit for the misspelling. I know someone named Bohmer so it's autospell for me.
