It can only track 50 series at once. I can't believe I actually watch that many shows, but I always seem to have it maxed out. Some of them are things that are on hiatus that I am afraid I'll forget to put back in when they come back, but still, that seems like a lot of TV.

Not only is it all arc, but the (now) three seasons have all happened in a very short period of time. Skylar was very pregnant when we started and the baby is now probably not more than 4 months old.

I think she knows why and she knows he would give her a bullshit reason.

To me, "I thought I was dying and would leave you guys with nothing" is acceptable but doesn't carry through past the poitn where he a) had the initial amount desired and b) knew he was no longer dying. Somewhere, I heard the story of this show as pitched as "the story of a good man who chooses to go bad" or something a little catchier than that. And it was the point where Walt decided to keep going for his own ego that, I think, marked Walt crossing a line that I don't think he can really cross back over without going to jail.

You know, it was the lawyer who sent the cleaner over to Walt's, but the cleaner is obviously pretty close to Mr. Pollos. So perhaps the "wife problem" will be the stick.

I would have a big problem with being limited to 50 shows. Especially since I am full of nostalgia, and cannot bring myself to delete shows I loved that have been cancelled.

See, I think he hit that point when his old partners offered to pay his medical bills and he stubbornly refused them. He told himself he was trying to take care of his family, but it was always for him, showing that he could, letting him be in control, be the badass.

The lawyer originally hooked up Walt with Mr. Pollos, right? So they may be a lot more tightly knit than Walt thinks.

You could be right about the "wife problem", though I think that whatever Pollos has in mind, he's had in place. Though maybe not, maybe he figured the $3M would do it and is switching over to Plan B.

It is AWFUL having to delete shows just because they are cancelled and I don't have room for cancelled shows.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about them. Because it was just pride that kept him from accepting their offer, right? Although I can sort of see feeling like regular rules don't apply when you are dying. But, as I'm sure someone has said more eloquently, that's when they matter the most, right?

I do think it's interesting also that while Walt is *making* drugs, the money (which translates to pride for him) is really the drug for Walt. I don't think he's ever been the least bit tempted to try his product. I suppose the quality of the product is also a bit alluring to him - he finally feels like someone, even if it's a bunch of meth heads - appreciates him. Which is sad because I think he and Skylar and his son had a decent relationship before all this started.

Yeah, it seemed like it was purely pride to me. If what he cared about was providing for his family, he could have done that then -they were even willing to put some face-saving spin on it, saying it was due him for the work he'd done back in the day.

You are dead on with the money and prestige being his drug. He's finally getting what he deserves, recognition of his mad skills, all the money that teaching high school was never going to make him. Yeah.

And the price for that is pretty much the real relationships that he used to have with Skylar and Walt Jr.

How angry he was when he found out he was in remission, that he wasn't dying - that ruined all his plans.

Did not see Curtis buying it.

Interesting that the hat is an official dresscode for Raylan. I guess it would be weird if it was a permanent fixture, but interesting that he chooses to not wear it when socializing.

Definitely found this weeks ep much more even. I don't need Raylan in every scene, but the second ep seemed out of balance between the time devoted between the criminals and the marshalls.

Loved the byplay between all the criminals in this ep. Just plain fun writing. Also did not see the curtiscide coming.
