Someone said at TWoP that it's odd since she was awesome on a show chock-full of awesome
Heh, that was me. Whatever the problem was, it wasn't that Natalie Morales can't act or that the show's writers can't do great work for female characters in general. She was wonderful in almost every scene of The Middleman, and Elizabeth, June, and Diane have all been written for very well.
Home sick today, so of course I watched three episodes of White Collar. It has healing powers. It does!
I had to watch Vital Signs again, to see the "You're the only one I trust" scene. (And Neal singing, and Neal faceplanting, and El laughing at the idea of Peter flirting, and, "Carrier pigeons! Think about it.") Good stuff, which makes up for the weird, awkward plot.
Was it just me, or did House make even less sense last night than usual?
(psst, House isn't a cable drama--you'll get more traction in Procedurals)
But it says Surgeons... oh, never mind. *sigh* It's not really even worth discussing. My bad; I get all my shows from the DVR; I can never remember which is on what.
Surgeons- that was most likely Nip/Tuck. . .
I just read that White Collar comes back in June, not July. I haven't seen any press confirmation, though.
Justified is promisingly Elmore Leonard-y so far. And Olyphant is his usual INTENSE self (though not quite as stick-up-the-ass as Bullock).
Not soon enough.
So. True.
Today, I rode four hours to Asheville for a conference, and my colleague who was driving us asked me on the way up, "So what shows are you watching?" All I could think of was White Collar. What are the others? ::shrug::
Then we finally make it to the hotel, and I'm sharing a room with a different colleague. She's been here since yesterday, and was already in bed with the TV on. I had to restrain myself to keep from asking her to switch to USA to see if White Collar was on.
