It's a series on USA, starring Jeffrey Donovan and Bruce Campbell. Donovan's a spy who's been forced out of the business (a Burn Notice was issued on him), for reasons he doesn't know yet.
I didn't enjoy it like I did the Psych premiere, but it wasn't bad.
ETA: Or, what everyone else said!
It's a show on USA starring Jeffrey Donovan as a spy who gets fired for unexplained reasons. Apparently, they do this by freezing your assets and putting you on Federal watch lists and otherwise making your life a living hell.
Soooo... It's
The Prisoner
without the Village?
I actually thought it was more Equalizer.
Of course, in The Prisoner, Number 6 quit for unexplained reasons. We never did find out what happened with Edward.
Well, it's not like Weston quit - he was fired.
I'm finishing up Burn Notice and I'm liking it more. I liked the way he dealt with the drug dealer ,very MacGuyvery ,but also sort of like he's stepping on a bug.
And I liked Fiona more when she cold cocked the drug dealer's muscle.
I just watched Burn Notice, I liked it. I'll probably season pass it.
There were some good bits here and there in Burn Notice, but there was no suspense, no tension, and the twists were entirely predictable.
yes, but I have learned to have low standards :)
Watching the Gil Mayo Mysteries on BBCA got me interested in reading the originals. Oddly, the originals are almost completely unlike the tv version. The feeling of the books is unlike the show, the characters are mostly different (even if they have the same names) and the mysteries themselves - although they are "based" on the novels are changed quite a bit too.
It's just. . . odd.
Oh, and they're repeating Burn Notice this afternoon. Which is excellent for people like me who, for some reason, cannot stay awake at 9 pm on a Thursday.
Army Wives: Ha! I knew that there was going to be trouble when the Col. found out about what's his name and his daughter.
