as far as I could tell, Eliot's offer to off LP was totally platonic
Yes, and as far as I could tell, totally serious. I think he'd have killed the guy if Nate had said go.
I'm not sure I want to *see* Eliot kill someone in cold blood, but I'd like to know if he would. Given the right circumstances, of course.
I'm pretty sure Nate had a coffee cup at the start of the episode. I'm gonna assume there''s liquor in that thing every time. But no room for boozing and planning tonight.
Eliot's offer of death...he looked almost startled when Nate said they'd con him instead. Hey, Parker asked, right?
They did something together that they had to keep secret from the rest of the crew.
They do have a bit of an off-to-the-side friendship. But I want more, dammit.
But I want more, dammit.
Me too. But I don't think Parker can move that fast. She's only just got to the point of being able to hug back.
Nate is scary. "He made Parker cry. Oh, and he's evil. Destroy him." And then he makes it happen. In the coolest manner possible.
I don't think Parker can move that fast.
There are two episodes left this season. She asked for time at the end of last season. I don't think I'm being entirely unreasonable in asking for one more shippery moment in addition to the look he gave her in The Ice Man Job.
I'm only human, dammit.
Oh my stars and garters I love this show. This was a perfect "bring it down" episode. I`m glad that Parker crying was at the top of the episode and the whole rest of everything was everyone trying to make it right for her. And of course it`s not all right. But I adored everyone rallying around her. I loved Eliot`s offer.
But oh, I can`t bear Parker being hurt. There`s something so strong and competent and cool about her. It just makes it doubly painful to see her confused and grieving and vulnerable.
And I also loved the moment with Hardison at the end. You can take the thief out of the con but you can`t take the thief out of the thief. Or something.
There are two episodes left this season.
Gah!
Oh, Parker. She's flirting with emotions!
When Hardison said the guy had done some time in Riverview, I thought, "No, Fox River!"
DYLAN MADE PARKER CRY.
Should have let Eliot beat him up, and then made him marry Brenda.
I love that everyone rallied around Parker. Also, I love the hint at her backstory. I think that we knew that she'd grown up in the foster care system, but this is the first hint of her family life before that.
Occurred to me on rewatch, funny that Eliot was ready to kill the guy, but was upset over Nate electrocuting him.
I wonder how the timing of that story works with what we know of Parker's backstory.
Maggie may not be that available for future episodes. Kari Matchett has a series on USA. I noticed a number of Psych ads during Leverage, which was weird, since they're airing opposite each other.
