"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I didn't hear it as an accent so much as a bad Clint Eastwood impression.

Exactly. On the other hand, it's probably what Omar expected. The theatricality and OTTness made a real impression.

Trust my rage

Mostly I like Michael's accents. Last night's was more annoying than bad. Nate's accents always sound so corny to me. Angel's never bothered me, but I think I'm in the very small minority on that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nate's make me laugh, except when he's German. Then my ears bleed. Michael's usually don't bother me, but last night I can't imagine anyone would take him seriously.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Nate's are supposed to be corny.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Shouldn't Nate be going for realistic?

His OTT characters make me grind my teeth, but - like the underestimation of Eliot - I suspect it's on purpose. The more attention he attracts, the less attention his mark will pay to anyone else.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Christian Kane's eponymous band will be playing i Portland on the last night of the con! And I have tickets! And all the "good" tickets for the con sold out two days after I finally made up my mind, so... whew.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Oooh, you must report back on whether his hair does the flippy thing at the concert or not. Is it strictly for the show or does he iron his hair himself?

le nubian - Jan 30, 2010 5:25:18 pm PST #4114 of 11999
"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, I have been thinking that Kane's hair is a wig or extensions. Is this not the case?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

He seems to usually wear it pretty long.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It seems to have gotten longer over the run of the series, so if it's fake they're paying attention to detail.

Why do you think it's fake, LeN?
